HR Co-Ordinator

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the HR inbox, respond to employee queries and provide day-to-day HR administrative support.
- Support managers and employees with HR advice, policies, procedures and general people-related queries.
- Assist with the end-to-end recruitment process, including liaising with recruitment agencies and supporting new starter inductions.
- Manage employee lifecycle administration, including starters, leavers, internal changes, probation, family leave and associated system/payroll updates.
- Monitor sickness absence and Occupational Health requirements, including return-to-work processes, health surveillance and management referrals.
- Maintain accurate HR records and systems, including filing documentation and acting as an expert user of BreatheHR.
- Prepare and support payroll processing, respond to payroll queries and provide processing cover when required.
- Manage administration relating to employee benefits, training, long-service rewards and workwear.
- Support employee engagement, wellbeing and company initiatives, including social events, charity activities and HR projects.
- Assist with audits, policy updates, meeting notes and KPI reporting, providing HR data and documentation as required by the business.
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- CIPD Level 3 (or relevant experience in a HR/People Team).
- Experience of HR administration in a busy working environment (manufacturing or
- construction environment preferable).
- Good knowledge of MS packages including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, good attention to detail and be able to prioritise
effectively. - Excellent project management skills.
- Have a proactive continuous improvement mindset and be able to coach and support
colleagues across the business. - An enthusiastic engaged attitude and eagerness to help JKH to continue to grow as a
business.
